Najarra Townsend

Najarra was aware of what she wanted to do in life at the age of was three. She began to model and perform in stage productions in her locality. All through her childhood as well as her teenage years, Najarra was involved in both musical and theatrical productions. She first appeared on the big screen at age ten, as a co-star with her mother in "Menace". Najarra's appearance in the Sundance as well as the Cannes prize-winning "Me and You and Everybody We have Come to Know" in 2005 attracted worldwide attention. Najarra played the main character in several films including "Tru I Loved", 'Marin Blue', & "Betty I Am". Viewers were able to experience another side to the young actress as they watched the horror movie "Contracted", which was premiered through IFC Midnight in 2014.
